4 stars I thank to Progarchives for letting me discover this wonderful album. I'm a huge fan of all Lucassen's works, and when I saw this album on this site i thought Arjen Lucassen doing space metal: a dream comes true!. Using a popular Lucassen's sentence: Is this a dream or is it real?. Well, sometimes the dream becomes reallity XD. However, I bought the special edition album, and I loved it immediately. It is a bit different from Ayreon works: less complex music and lyrics, less famous people working on it and a less female voices (only Floor Jansen) and this fact disappointed me a bit. But this album is more direct than Ayreon's, more heavy, more rock, more simple but powerfull. The bonus CD is also very cool. The Hawkwind medley is another dream come true. It is not Prog at all, i think. Only a couple of tracks can be considered prog songs (The eye of Ra , Starchild). Other songs haven't a progressive structure. It's for this that I don't consider this album a true Masterpiece of Progressive Music. So I give it about 4.5 stars.

In the end: Highly recommended album, not only for progheads. For all metal fans is a must have. The Ayreon fans could be a bit disappointed at the first listening, but it's just a question of time. You'll Love It!!!
