3 stars I agree with the apparent consensus among the raters here. This is an enjoyable single from the underrated LOAD. Yes, it's not thrashy or even very metal. It's also not very progressive, which loses it some cred on our favorite website. These are still good songs, if not my first choice from the album. The title track could be summed up with the old cliche, "Be careful what you wish for." The flip side is an energetic live performance of "Ain't My Bitch." If anything, this proves that Hetfield and company can write melodies and harmonies, without the recent complexity and slick production . Definitely worthy.
