4 stars I was lucky enough to be invited to this gig. It was an amazing day, and particularly good to see Ted Turner and Laurie Wisefield on stage playing Wishbone Ash songs again. Listening to the CD recording is actually better than on the day because there was a gremlin in one of the speakers which rather spoilt the live sound. The setlist is quite eclectic, ignoring most of the standard WA material for rarer cuts (plus two songs from Martin's solo album). This was deliberate because the more commonly played songs were already on previous live albums. Highlights for me are the moment when Ted Turner walks on stage halfway through Valediction (listen to the crowd's response) and the four lead guitar version of Jailbait which closes the show. Incidentally there is a mistake in the description above - Ted also plays on tracks 2-4, 2-6 and 2-7.
