MONOLITH

After "Point of Knowhere", "Monolith" has taken a more complex hard rock style than progressive. More accessible, the keyboards seem to take a break. The violin is less present, and there are some acoustic bits. The compositions are more pop oriented, despite the instruments fully load most of the songs. The sound is good and all the instruments are well played. We fill the dilution of the prog style here, and it seems to disappoint many fans. I think this record is among the least favorite ones.
