4 stars This remarkable work of Kansas evoque the early years of the band, with powerfull arrangements, showing the band in total shape.Mixing moments of pure progressive with hard ones, and folk moments, the compositions are exciting, with fantastic works of violin and drums, excellent vocals and intelligent lyrics. In this album , the violin works in highlight, in total sinergy with the drums , making sometimes a solid base, sometimes in lyrical moments( like the final section of "I can Fly" ), shaping the charismatic sound of this millestone american band. The vocals of Steve Walsh bring emotion to the songs,in beautiful moments like "Peacefuland Warm".
