4 stars Great comeback album from the 70s supergroup featuring tracks written by Kerry Livgren. All the original six members are featured plus long-time bassist Billy Greer.

Things get of to a superb start with the wonderfully evocative Icarus 2, a song about Second World War bomber pilots. Check out the innovative use of heavy metal guitar symbolising a fighter plane attacking. The chunkier Grand Fun Alley is most welcome but is over all too quickly. The epics are well represented with Myriad and Distant Vision, showcasing some excellent instrumental sections.

Unfortunately the album tails off at the end, Byzentium is fairly weak and Not Man Big promises much but doesn't really deliver. However this is a really good album.
