4 stars Miles at time when it rushed into in the 1960's took shape to advocate the conversion from Be- Bop to Mode Jazz by "Kind Of Blue" of the album that oneself announced and to promote the concept further. However, after it comes to walk in the route besides John Coltrane, Miles is guessed groping to SAX player's changing places in the early the 60's. Even if the point to announce some albums of live at this time is considered, it might be evidence that they appear remarkably.

Miles announces "Seven Steps To Heaven", "Four&More", and "My Funny Valentine" in shape to leave SAX player's George Coleman. "Miles In Tokyo" is announced on Sam Rivers of the following SAX player. Miles tries Wayne Shorter and contact at this time. It develops into the combo of the second gold back. Miles really had the ability to catch music that had always to sharpen the sense for the age and music and to establish it quickly. The listener and the musician were well informed of his character. Ron Carter can be pulled out from the band of Art Farmer and I ask the art of talking on which it negotiates directly with the leader of the band before Wayne Shorter is pulled out from the band of Art Bleakey and the problem is caused for his character. As for it, the same thing will be able to be said also to Herbie Hancock and Tony Williams. The member who gathers is still a legend for the history of the music of Miles. Music that develops the mode Jazz further splendidly expands width by these five people. "E. S.P." in which each taste that has it is splendid each other is a tune where the zeal of Miles is transmitted. It has feelings that "81" and "R.J", etc. shift to the flow of the following "Miles Smiles", too. "Iris" of the ballade is a good taste of Miles. SAX of Wayne announces the idea from Jazz Messengers in this album. Miles performed with these four people is thinking the performance really for four people good each other. Miles announces some albums after this by five person gold. They and ..very high-quality mode Jazz.. have finished. Miles at this time is not a stage ahead to establish "Electric Miles". Music rose ahead a little in the final form for oneself to advocate the mode and to revolutionize about the 70's.
