3 stars If you ever find a copy of this album, and give it a listen, make sure you listen all the way through. The first half of this disk is just garbage. It's that stuff the record labels and flaccid jazz radio stations were calling "Quiet Storm". That was jazz musicians playing totally mind numbingly boring light soul jazz. You know the stuff I'm talking about.

Now, the second half of the album is worth listening to. That's the first point on this disk that I could tell it was actually Billy Cobham playing here. From the cut "Fragolino" on, the compositions are much more interesting, and the drumming much more complex. By no means does it match the music on his first few albums, but it's not bad.

2.5 stars. I wouldn't say it's "for collectors only", but the first half disqualifies the album from being "good".
