Solid effort from McLaughlin and co., not really progressive rock at all, clearly '80's jazz rock. Hellborg is an excellent bassist and turns in a good performance here in particular. While not the most memorable or impressive McLaughlin, not a bad disc at all, just doesn't take off and soar like some other stuff of his.
