They showed a completely different music (at least prog), leaning heavily towards the jazzy moods (too much to my taste though).

What is available on this album is even more leaning to the prog music we all love: delicate fluting during "Y las Antenas?" which is quite an enchantment while you have listened to albums like "Cabeza" and "Pez". But none did so here?

This is quite a rebirth for this band (which is very, VERY confidential on this site) who is actually only gaining a deserved appearance on PA since their previous album. Vocals are again quite decent here: we are far from these punkish (and this is only the truth) from their early days. What a change in such a short time (and on the good side, I mean).

The jazzy mood is not absent either, but on the symphonic side; another superb fluting play is featured and is a definite highly appreciated complement to this song. This album is by far the most related to prog IMHO. The second one out of six, really.

But "Pez" showed some deep need to change their musical style with "Convivienca Sagrada" and the prog feel only increases while listening to such an effort. Quite close to symphonic to tell the truth! From punk in '98 ("Pez") to symphonic prog with this one some four years later. I have NEVER heard a band who switched so quickly and effectively from style in such a short period of time. And I know both scenes pretty well.

This "sun behind the sun" is a good album which deserves some more exposure on this site. But as usual, should I say, a Latin band is less taken into account. Being from a band who didn't show lots of inclination to prog so far (and I admit this).

Most of the songs featured are on the good spectre of the edge. Even if not superb, the melodic " Y Cuando?" features such a good sax part, that I can only applause. This album is even more astonish than their previous one.

"Pez" (fish) fully entered into the prog world with their latter two albums, but while the previous one was mainly jazz-oriented, this one is a true and definite prog one. As I have said, mainly symphonic with some deep and convinced vocal parts ("Después De Todo?" combined with great fluting.

Completely gone are these punk riffs and frenetic heavy metal beats. Incredible change, really! From start to finish. When it is good, one has to say it, right?

"Serana" reminds me of "Your Time Is Gonna Come" from whom you might know. Keyboards oriented with smooth vocals. What else do we need?

This is by far the best "Pez" album so far. Seven out of ten with no problem. Still, a bit shy of the fourth star rating. Yet, it would be welcome to get another commented review for this band...
