Amazing debut album! Full of rythmic intrincancies, bizarre phrasing and powerful motifs. Persian American has plenty elements to fully satisfy any fan of prog subgenres like R.I.O., Zeuhl, and Avant-Prog. Even though it was conceived using Digital Audio Workstations it has a completely organic vibe thanks to Greco Bastián's skillful composing. Nowadays there are few bands in Mexico trying to do progressive music, and fewer attempting to dabble through the ways of R.I.O./Zeuhl, so it is really encouraging for the future of rock music in Mexico that artists like this emerge from the shadows with the quality Persian American has in every single track. I'm surely looking forward to listen more from this great new artist in the future!
