5 stars In 'Les fils de l'homme' we hear it, there is everything in it, hard rock, jazzy sessions, spleen, emotion; I'm told in the headset that this album was found near a monolith and more, in short, it's off on a journey inside oneself.

1.' 21st Century Schizoid Man' make it or break it; the strident instruments, the screaming, hygiaphoned voice, the thundering drums, this cut between verse and almost soft chorus on the side; the sax is also part of the party; the sax-bass break which frightens, which must have frightened in its time (yes I was not born of course!), a little drum solo now but what is this title? simply insolent KING CRIMSON; a break that I hated for a long time to make my hair stand up, yes the prog I didn't know it did that! Good the end, I had to lower the sound to avoid having reprimands at home. 2. 'I Talk to the Wind' wait, wait later it's better, yes but then why this 1st title? but to better appreciate my master, uh my father; the pearl, the stereo humming with the cymbals, the flute ah I understand why I adored GENESIS from their beginning, a flute and I'm overwhelmed; in short it is better that I speak to the wind, at least he will listen to me; but this tambourine with the flute, I persist a musical caviar; let's go back, go a little longer, how could they have imagined this sound space, I still ask myself the question; the finale there makes my hair stand on end, the Collins-style battery almost bewitches me and I hear the next title coming in a row... le panard. 3. 'Epitaph' on two parts or my favorite intro in this album; everything is there, syncopated drums, majestic and vocal organ by Greg, the volley of guitar notes to make you melt a little more; the guitar with the spleen assassin before its time, everything to make you cry with joy, a great moment, the birth of progressive rock is surely not far away here; the narcissistic, dreamlike explosion of pleasure, the sax, the drum, the solemn march that Handel could have composed, the flute... I'm silent about writing, I'll let you revise yourselves! the end??? with the drum rolls, just to knock you out some more. 4.' Moonchild' dream and illusion or how I only took the substance of this piece, yes I cut at 2'30'' and I put it back; the stereophonic bells always have an effect on me; a few years later I started to incorporate this musical wandering coming from the celestial limbo (small aside on the albums of now where everything is supposed to be understood from the 1st listening, I still laugh about it and always, in short); well the drums alone there eh not three at once like after on 'Red', is it improvisation or an air ... provisional? is it jazzy? psychedelic? bossa nova? military? in short, to listen religiously through headphones while meditating on the presence or absence of God. Always a mystery this room. What some fell asleep? 5. 'The Court of the Crimson King' or how to get your thrill? organ and drums, guitar arpeggio and divine flute and you have the divine piece, the one that cannot be translated, transcribed, absolute prog title; thinking about it, it's after the BEATLES the album where I got the most hooked for these stereo drifts, for these choirs coming from the back of the cover's throat!! What you don't know yet??? If you leave the LP wide open while listening, you get feedback that squirts in your face, didn't you know that? (for CDs, it's not noticeable enough); good 6'30 '' the title is finished of course!!! oh no, I forgot this fairground flute (which we will find much longer on a title of GENESIS) which will strike the one who did not understand that it was necessary to be silent.... perfection at its perihelion, thank you Mr. just go I put the final for this battery hit.

KING CRIMSON is a king, maybe the king of progressive rock, for me it's written! An album that shows that to do better you have to get up early, even before time. 'The Court' is the album to have on your desert island of course, I leave you, I get up and will give the last title.
