4 stars A year after Heaven, a new album, we must strike while the iron is hot; same line-up except the new drummer Vinny and a mature BS for this decade. 1. Turn Up the Night title announcing that the hard blood is still flowing on this future retiree, yes they have been scouring the hard since the beginning of the 70s these little youngsters! boosted DIO BS! 2. Voodoo ... when we talk about the wolf, a BLACK SABBATH sound from BLACK SABBATH, when I think about it, just DIO uh Ronnie who serves otherwise we are between the two; it's good, it's agreed and this bass that I love exits the never say die much too sharp, which did not give the necessary charisma of hard; a tortured solo, a rhythmic sound behind and we headbang 3. The Sign of the Southern Cross with an acoustic, like MAIDEN UNITED covering IRON MAIDEN; yes it's complicated to follow me, but do you think that having a little less than 10,000 albums in mind is easy? A gong and the heavy riff, which comes out of an uncultivated muck, the sound with this synth which gives the change, its most evil and borderline spatial, the bass of Geezer always monstrous, a great hard group must have a very good bass player; almost 8 minutes for a hard prog metal title, yes at the time I was already looking for clear prog blood in my listening; ah a cathedral guitar lick in stereo, one of the signs of hardos, finding something heavy and passing it like a clearly limpid tune; bam the solo that tumbles makes you realize that BS wasn't just anyone; the finale shows the bestial side of the voice, ah... you hear? then listen to this sound that comes from nowhere 4. E5150 then continues, the song that I played loudly by installing my speakers outside, 2000 watts of peak power at the time it was dantesque, in short this sound from nowhere which makes you vibrate, fantasize, you wait and. .. the voice, the bass, the ultra bass, the magical moment when the music becomes one with your spirit; this infamous roar that if you haven't heard it yet... you can't know... if you listen, yes it's you I'm talking to (Patrick), if you listen, you understand what spirit means prog! Here we are not laughing, the sound croaks, the sound vibrates, I already wrote it, the sound swells again and again, one of my favorite pieces still with the opening of the gate to Hell... and the peeling of the putty from the windows at my parents' house, memory! 5. The Mob Rules continues of course, this song which will be included in 'Heavy metal' the film; Well, there's nothing extraordinary about this title, it's just violent, it follows E5 150, just writing it makes me want to put it back; ah if the solo is nice, it's joyful, in short 6. Country Girl for the trap title, consensual at the start and after 1'30 a DIO-like drift which infuses a little prog metal essence with a divine break just followed by the violent solo, yes we're not there in order to relax; the riff and the drums that roll down the slope! 7. Slipping Away entrance riff yes they are not here to laugh, supercharged hard BS; you wait wisely for the half and a riff pinches, cuts guitar and bass, ah this bass even more than that of Michael from VAN HALEN 8. Falling off the Edge of the World and the reason for the timeline after E5 150... I love writing it; in short a beautiful, airy intro, yes coming from Heaven I confirm; we park, ah no we take the train which will go far, high, an excessive sound comes out of this title; 2 mins and the musical fire horses come out of the stable; a guitar solo over there, a slap on the ass and that's how I found a prog metal marker before its time 9. Over & Over concludes this album with a heavy, captivating tune, a tune that makes you nod your head in slow motion; news to Vinny who is letting go, he who was already following DIO in his group; a piece with a slow tempo which will give the necessary outro to this album like no other, and again and again and again a solo from Tony which also shows that in a good metal, heavy, hard band... . you need a good guitarist, listen to him until the end!
