PETER GABRIEL 4 [AKA: MASK, AKA: SECURITY]

There are good musicians on this record: Tony Levin on bass and Larry Fast (SYNERGY) on keyboards. The songs are varied: pop hit ("Shock the Monkey"), mellow, full of beat and floating ("Lay Your Hands On Me"), catchy and relaxing with piano parts ("Wallflower"). The drums, beat and percussions are omnipresent. Some patterns are a bit irritating, especially on "I Have the Touch" and ""Kiss of Life". Let's say that the record is very unequal: I have to skip some parts to find the better bits. I appreciate the more mellow parts.
