4 stars This is a VERY good album by Eloy. I'm probably the only Eloy fan in Illinois right now, haha, but right now, lets get to the review. While this might not be my favorite album by them, this is a VERY good one for sure. It kind of got that real "Prog" kind of music getting to them. The vocals have improved from album to album, thanks to Frank. He is very good at singing, his tone is incredible, but I feel that its a little hard to distinctly hear what he is saying because he slides alot when he sings. The production is pretty good, better than the albums before it, but not as good as the ones to come in sound quality.

Since this is a concept album, I think that it should be graded as such, one song. It does have a very good flow to it, but I think that the Imprisonment section of the album is slightly drifty for me, it sounds very wierd to me. I think it really dosent fit with the rest. My favorite part of the concept is the Back to the Present and the Journey to 1358 parts, they sound awesome. I like the Present section because it sounds really upbeat and really rockish, while still keeping it tight with the rest of the album, making sense that he is traveling back to the future (1975 in their case). The 1358 is a very good starting point of the album, its pretty soft and it flows really nice to me. The rest of the album is pretty good.

Overall, this album deserves a 4/5 because its slightly below perfect, but its still pretty much awesome. You can tell that the next few albums by the band are going to be the best that they have ever made in the course of their history.
