Mägo de Oz is one of those band that will surely disappoint you, if what you're looking for is pure heavy metal, or pure prog, or pure Hard Rock, but if you pay special attention to the music, you'll find that there is a little of everything on their music, above all, the great Folk transition and celtic music bridges. The lyrics (spanish) are very poetic and medieval, with messages of peace ("La Costa del Silencio") and a great vocal feeling. With "Gaia", you won't be disappointed if you search good music, this is a good album to start.
