The third Pink Floyd release was a soundtrack from a late sixties film called "More", a film that is kind of boring if you're not into LSD and active drug use. To be honest, I watched that film several years ago and I barely remember much of it, but I considered that the Pink Floyd music was the best thing about the movie.

The songs on the A-side of the album have the lyrics, while the B-side is mainly instrumental; it goes from very harmonic songs to some dark pieces that sound like leftovers from "A saucerful of secrets". As we're talking about a soundtrack, most of the songs are quite short because they were planned to appear in specific scenes of the film.

The album itself has very nice songs (I must admit that "Cirrus Minor" is one of my all-time favorite Pink Floyd songs) but to be absolutely honest, the whole album is not as good as the first two albums of the band, this is an album that I wouldn't buy and I only own because it was on my dad's CD collection.

I really like it, but not as much to consider it a must-have album, so, three stars for this record.

SONG RATING: Cirrus Minor, 5 The Nile Song, 4 Crying song, 3 Up the khyber, 3 Green is the color, 4 Cymbaline, 4 Party sequence, 3 Main theme, 2 Ibiza bar, 3 More blues, 3 Quicksilver, 3 A Spanish piece, 3 Dramatic theme, 3

AVERAGE: 3.31

PERCENTAGE: 66.15

ALBUM RATING: 3 stars
