VISIONARY

It's been a very long time since German Symphonic Rock-Legend Eloy released their last album. In 1998 Ocean 2 - The Answer reminded a lot of its origins in the 70ies. Although nearly a decade has passed it seems Eloy are still the same! It's the same group as heard on Ocean 2 - for the exception of Hannes Folberth, 80ies keyboarder from Colours to Metromania, who added some keys.

The Album starts with a slightly psychedelic-fluted midtempo "The Refuge". It seems to me it's one of the best of Eloy. The rest of the album is more smooth and epical in this typical Eloy- style sometimes with female choir addition.

I would describe Visionary as an very atmospheric album with the wisdom of age...
