5 stars Bob Drake continues to tickle my prog senses in short but smart songs that reference the best of the last few decades of prog/psych/avant rock forms. This album, while brief, collects a great set of new songs, Drake handling all parts and the engineering, for which he is well known; apparently he added some newly invented instruments to his "band", extending his sound, which on this new album has a great balance of electronic and acoustic instruments. Honestly I don't know why the release of a new Drake album isn't more of an event, and this album is truly worthy of appreciation. On top of that, you get a nice fold-out poster in Bob Drake style from Joe Mruk, to add to the fascinating universe that is uniquely Bob Drake.
