THE GEESE AND THE GHOST

This is to me not only the finest of Anthony Phillip's works, and I have nearly all of them and enjoy them all, but one of the best prog rock albums period. The comparisons to some of Genesis's work is understandable, but I think it really stands a bit apart from those significantly as well. 'Pastoral' is an adjective that comes easily to mind, very well crafted pieces, and Ant's guitar work is exceptional throughout; he obviously gives careful consideration to every bar. I'd highly recommend this to any prog rock fan.
