5 stars Alright, as my username suggests, Camel is awesome! I believe a prog collection isn't a collection without this album. To those of you who want to start getting into prog, you should know, for some it is an acquired taste. So if you want to get into prog, but you've maybe tried some albums and you didn't like them, don't worry! I first listened to this and the snow goose, a while back. To be honest, it was a bit creepy, all those melancholic sounds. So I listened to the later stuff like I can see your house from here and Breathless, and it was like "Hey, this is pretty good." As you all know those are some of they're worst albums, because of pressure to make hits, but hey, if they didn't exist, I might not be here reviewing this album now! But then I listened to Moonmadness again, and something just clicked. It's hard to explain, it was just like all of the sudden "I get it now!" So if your new, I'd try something a bit lighter like Breathless, just to ease yourself into this album. But if you've been a fan of prog for years you should have no problem getting right into the best of Camels discography.
