AN EVENING OF YES MUSIC PLUS

One of my absolute favourite live albums! After a relatively boring start of the album where each of the 4 ex-Yessers show off in their solo-spots, they really blow the roof off the concert arena with staggering versions of Yes and ABWH-material. The extra musicians (aside from Jeff Berlin on bass) don't really add anything to the music, but ABWH themselves sound as tight and inspired as ever. Some of their best work is included here, including a mind-blowing version of Close to the Edge. (In my opinion, the best live version released to date of their 1972 epic.) Any Yes- or ABWH fan (or remotely prog-interested person) should lend an ear to this album.
