3 stars Considered to be the best Rush album by many, I don't see it this way. I like it a lot. The musicians are excellent. They manage to make every track interesting at least.

But not all of the tracks are excellent.

Tom Sawyer - A great catchy opener of the album. 9/10

Red Barchetta - One of the longer tracks of this album, being 'only' 6 minutes. Fantastically played, this is a strong song. 8.5/10

XYZ - Rush's instrumentals are something else. This is a pinnacle of their musicianship and gives us a lot in a short track. 9/10

Limelight - Rush are masters of their instruments which they show with this track. Awesome. The song itself is a basic catchy tune in essence, but the way they play it is masterful and makes this a great track. 8/10

The Camera Eye - We know Rush can create epics. They have done so numerous times before. This one has its moments. But it also feels repetitive. 7.5/10

Witch Hunt - One of the better tracks on side 2 of the album. I love the haunting synth. 8/10

Vital Signs - Played by any other group, this track would be bland. Rush elevates it to be a good closer to the album. 7/10

Looking at the star rating system of the site, I feel the only fair rating from my side would be 3 stars.
