4 stars This Gabriel work as the others he released later than this reminds me or makes me compare them with later Pink Floyd recordings, you know there's no vestiges of prog music, but there is something that tells you that is not bad music at all, or very good pop songs if you wanna call them. The instrumentation of every track is simply astounding, most of the songs are soft and gentle, with two pop songs like Steam and Kiss That Frog, recommended...In The Blood of Eden, great vocals work by Gabriel and Sinead O'Connor, another great moment of the album is in Fourteen Black Paintings, the musicianship of John Paul Jones mixed up with Gabriel lyrics, that more than lyrics are a message to people to believe in their inner powers. The closing track, which is Secret World, is arguably a classic of gabriel and one of my favorites... is not prog music, but how beautiful is hearing this tracks made by a true prog hero. GABRIEL STILL RULES!!!!
