4 stars This third release by this Swedish act; and the second EP they've issued following their full length debut in 2005, is a really nice surprise in a number of ways. The fact that this is pop music and both enjoyable, elaborate and somewhat unique-sounding is a sentence describing most of these - and this act really has something going for it.

Personally I think their sound have many similarities to acts like REM and Manic Street Preachers - but much more mellow than any of these acts. The compositions are rather detailed too; with a number of different layers creating rich textures easy to get immersed in. The songs are mostly slow moving, steeped in melancholy; and should have a great appeal to anyone looking for high quality pop music exploring that particular emotion.
