5 stars SEBTP is the 5th studio album by British #proglegends Genesis and the 3rd to feature what to most fans would be their classic lineup of #petergabriel (vocals, flute, etc); #stevehackett (guitars); #tonybanks (piano, Mellotron, etc); #mikerutherford (bass, guitars) and #philcollins (drums, percussion & vocals). I was born in 77 so my first Genesis reference is way after Gabriel & Hackett left the band, circa #invisibletouch, and I quite enjoyed it, never loved it but there were a few tracks of the mid and late eighties that had a lot of radio airplay and are well preserved in my memory. This is the first Gabriel era album that I really have given time to and feel comfortable recommending to non Genesis fans or those who like me only know the Collins era.

I won't be writing a review per se on this opportunity because who am I to do so? This 1973 album is a novelty form me and has me already melted, I can't imagine what fans from back in the day feel about this album and eta of the band.

The whole album is incredibly fantastic, top to bottom perfection, not a second wasted or overused and its a brilliant settlement from this highly talented bunch of musicians, of #musiclegends

As a side note I will say that The Battle of Epping Forest is my new favorite prog song of any sub genre, it made me understand where a lot of the music I love and bands I follow comes from, and it is an overwhelming pleasure! If you know it play it again, if you don't go and take a listen, satisfaction guaranteed!
