4 stars Eh, I can't detect some mental fracture here, really. Rather a mental awakening. Just a disaccord superficially seen. Here we have the self-released full-length debut of an interesting new five-piece band residing in Israel. 'Well, I already have heard such music in one way or another ...', you might be inclined to say at the first encounter. But then again, believe me, in the end this is way too prolific and well conceived to be ignored by any progressive rock fan. And by any prog oriented record label that is claiming to carry high standards in the same way. Hurry up! Thus, with every new run-through, the overall beauty unfolded, step by step, evolving to a standout album in these moving times, turning out to be a real treasure. Heavy most certainly, also jazz, symphonic, rather eclectic, here and there being in charge of some weirdness. And so the album content could be assigned with diverse tags, doesn't make it easy to categorize.

Anyhow, this will not play any role for the bands themselves, in most cases, that's my experience. The main thing is that they are convinced to have realized their main approach, and in second place of course that the music appeals to the listener. Well, I'm sure that fits together here. Now starting with the singer, Ori Mazuz makes it good, promises a proper accent-free singing voice. Further on Yogev Shpilman's varianted acoustic and electric guitar work undertakes a dominant role. Organ and piano are prominent nearly in the same way, essential in any case when considering the whole ambiance. 'Disacchord' marks an album where it is nearly impossible to highlight any particular track. What strikes anyhow and should be definitely noted is the staccato vibe on Hello in between, or the fine guitar and piano duel you should prepare yourself when listening to Inception Of Fear. Great album in its entirety, recommended!
