Starting with a dark night ripper with violent thunderstorms, PERIZONA EXPERIMENT (aka PERIZONA, not
a techno-disco outfit of the same name) goes on an experimental trip in their official debut album
Ora É Sempre. Regretfully I've not listened to their albums (in Skunk Rec. era) before Ora É
Sempre released, but guess we can see the whole experimental world of PERIZONA EXP. Basically they
did not purify their psychedelia (as a typical psych style, namely) but spread it with various
experimental essence and traditional methods ... some effects of tape spinning, noises of nature,
weird narrations ... and yes, we can glimpse at the return to the origin of Rock Progressivo
Italiano in them. Sometimes enthusiastic, sometimes introspective, sometimes serious, and sometimes
comical or Pierrotic - they can catch our heart by their bulky mass of strategies. However let me
say the important and impressive point is that they can play rock - please listen to the deepest and
sharpest masterpiece Ora É Sempre, repetitive danceable psychedelic guitar tune Deep
Strings / L'urlo, or down-tempo but 'eavy 'n' umble Redentro, and you can understand what
they should mean upon the work. For them psychedelia should be an experiment, I consider so.
