5 stars Until now, the better way I found to describe my impressions on this work is that it has a profound harmonizing and yet stimulating psychological effect on me. All instruments, generally once at a time, delivers great tunes. The songwriting gives wise and precise space for piano, drums and flute that doesn't seem to be able to get better. Marjana is out of doubt o fone highlights. She manages to find space even when the chords get high, and with no hurry.

They made a great job of uniting her chant with the chords. And the strings ensemble on the other hand brings a more melodic mood for Gleb's piano fingering. This also allows him to centralize his executions on his strong point, already mentioned.

Marjana excelled on the lyrics. Like on 'Sleeping Pills'. "Night Cover my heart Cover my dreams

Sweet sleeping pills"

On the booklet it's written that the album is dedicated to the subject of mental illness. It has a very contemporary approach to the theme, as is brilliantly explored on 'Chalk and Coal'. "I'm living inside my head I'm living inside this hell Mess My name's emptiness And I'm turning bitter and sour With each passing hour Untill nothing's left from me"

4.5 for musicianship, songwriting and execution. 4.8 for lyrics.
