5 stars How much music in this beautiful album of Kayo Dot! Finally something that comes from repeated and often tiring patterns of progressive music to introduce fresh air and beautiful and valuable news. The album is dense, dark, mercurial and hypnotic blend of electronics distortion. Surrounded by so many different musical atmospheres. Moments of the appeals Net VDGG although less schematic and more free and creative in the musical structure. Abyss hinge part 2 is beautiful with its orchestration Zappesque, Duke of Prunes and many other famous orchestral pieces dell'inimitabile American composer. Expressionistic moments throughout the album when the tones drop plunge into post-industrial atmospheres typical ECM nordic jazz, Rypdal in particular with the use of distorted electric instruments, hypnotic and visionary. And sometimes even revived the avant garde rock Residents of more modern and refreshed. Ultimately, the album finally too far from the atmospheres of many pop records Supervalu, often hotels that cling to old clichés often played with little heart or even evil. A good album that deserves a prominent place in history recent best music prog.
