This is a very spirtual album actually and contains some simply unbelievable melodies and musical moods for you to get easily lost in. OLDFIELD's definite guitar sounds accent this album throughout with the touch of a real master. "The Songs of Distant Earth" is a highly creative and original album from OLDFIELD who takes us deep into the depths of space or at least into the depths of our minds.
