1 stars Help me! Iīm disappearinī!!!

The first two verses of the album (appropriately tearfully singing) perfectly describes a whole substance of this piece. That is to say, disappearing, searching, sadness, even nihilism or decadence. I declare: this smiling woman face on the front cover is only one smile included here!

I have been curious about new highly rated and adorated Kayo Dot production which is now tight nidated on the top of 2010 Prog albums. Therefore I have listened it faithfully about 5 times to understand a sense of this piece. I have read all previous reviews from start to the end. But...nothing.

Iīm sorry for go up stream again. Yes, somebody can take exception to my opinion, somebody can say: "Shut up, dumb, you donīt understand this genre!" But I cannot hold my tongue! My answer is: I sort the music to two cases only: "positive" and "negative". And "Coyote" is quite dark, weird and negative stuff for me!

Musically: nihil novum sub sole! Something from Zappa, something from Davis, something from Sun Ra, something from Czech underground music (Plastic People Of The Universe e.g.). Distorted guitar, creaky violin, disastrous bass, common free jazz elements (like dissonant trumpet and saxophone), nervous drums with open hi-hat, awful vocal... Can I continue?

Itīs useless!

I wanna more optimistic music anymore!!!

1 star really...
