5 stars Since 2022 is over, I consider it necessary to write a few lines of what, IMHO, is my favorite album of the previous year.

With only 9 songs in just over 40 minutes, WITH A LITTLE HELL FROM MY FRIENDS is a great journey around an incalculable number of influences and names ranging from Magma, Zappa, Cardiacs and Univers Zero to labels like Zeuhl, Rock in Opposition, Avant-Rock, Jazz, Math Rock, Symphonism and others that turn this sonic experience into a memorable trip.

Although there is a plethora of well-known names in the scene present in the songs, it is good to hear that everyone worked from their instrument for each song, without taking center stage and leaving all the spotlight for the true protagonist of the album, which is the composition elaborated by our Mexican friend.

Let's hope that this is not the only work of these heights and characteristics and that we will be able to listen to more of Greco Bastián's future releases.

Excellent addition to any proghead's collection.
