GATHERING SPEED

Well its been almost a year since Big Big Train released this album et I must confess that I only just recently became an owner of a copy of GS! But they do say the best thing come to those who wait... Simply a wonderful release and have been playing it over and over I must say there is not too much in the way of BB train fans here in france but I think that I am become france's biggest no.1 fan since hearing this beautiful masterpiece we kick off with stomping opening track HIGH TIDE LAST STAND which I love, and is very genesis in places especially the peter gabriel harmonies! absolutely brilliant! this and track two; FIGHTER COMMAND are easily my favourite tracks without doubt. then we take things to a more sadder mood with THE ROAD MUCH FURTHER ON which is an emocinal cascade of the best, most well thought-out prog I've ever heard, infact the whole album is amasing!
