3 stars I did really look forward to this release last year, hoping to get another Ocean or Silent Cries...... but alas.

The songs are of course good enough but fairly standard and not close to ELOYS finest. It's more like another Colours or Performance.

Best would be "Mystery" but again, it doesnt' reach something like "Poseidon's Creation". Worst is the remake of "Time to Turn". It's not bad, really, but doesn't compare to the 1982 original. Bornemann and the choir-girls are growing old and their voices isn't what they used to be, perhaps a remake of an almost 30 years old song wasn't the best idea?

I also wonder why they call the album Visionary when all they do is complain about modern society, without offering ideas or alternatives. Not that I expected that, but it's an easy target for those critics who call Prog Rock pretentious.

All in all a minor disappointment, but still deserving of three stars.
