5 stars This album is the gold standard for prog rock, in fact to me, it literally defines prog rock. When I first heard "21st Century Schizoid Man" when I was about 13, for a second there I thought it was recorded much more recently, only to find out that it was from 1969. To me it sounded very futuristic. The rest of the album has some beautiful gems too, such as Epitaph and Moonchild. Another thing that is remarkable about the album is the long instrumental break in "Moonchild". Experimentation to the fullest.

Whoever wants a good introduction to prog needs to listen to this album.
