Without play on words this album is the prog bible,my favourite one of all times it displays the incredible ability and talents of APHRODITE'CHILD,this band was unique,no other had such a huge musical palette.No use to discribe each track from this masterpiece because it's better to listen to it,i even think it would deserve 6 stars.Of course some pieces need several listenings but others are pure evidences,what about THE FOUR HORSEMEN ?the melody, the DEMIS singing, the keyboards atmosphere, the SILVER guitar solo every thing is great and it's the same with BABYLON, THE LAMB, AEGIAN SEA, BREAK (with LUCAS beautifull singing) LAMENT (second voice by VANGELIS) , THE WEEDING OF THE LAMB, HIC ET NUNC ,THE BEAST ( vocal by LUCAS ) no need to talk about IRENE PAPAS performance everyone did ,and the final long track ALL THE SEATS WERE OCCUPIED with occasional flashbacks that shows clearly that VANGELIS ended it without DEMIS and LUCAS .this is a fantastic concept album one of the greatest, for sure it deserves 5 STARS just trust an old music addict.
