A FAREWELL TO KINGS

Rush's greatest album ever. It starts with one of my favorite Rush songs ever, the underrated title track, with the gorgeous classical guitar intro and then it gets into the upbeat hard rock stuff that sounds so amazing. The next song is Xanadu, one of the greatest prog rock songs ever, the beautiful Closer to the Heart comes next with the amazing acoustic intro and amazing guitar solo. Cinderella Man is next and while it's not as great as the songs before it's still a great track. Madrigal is easily the weakest track on the album, but it's short so it's fine. and Cygnus-X1 finishes it off and not only is the song itself unreal, but it is also a perfect setup for the next album. such a great album 5 stars easily
