5 stars In a different way, that it had happened when I heard ECHOLYN "Echolyn", in this second disk I could notice a very larger influence of GENTLE GIANT, besides those that it had identified previously ( see my review in P A) and in spite of my "fervorous" adimiration to G G, that didn't make me considered this a better albun than the previous, just as it is for the average of the community's menbros of P THE (although it finds the fantastic disk). Maybe that fact is due the presence of the track"A Suite for the Everyman" with 28:13 min duration that is subdivided in several themes, some of them with less than 1:00 min duration, fact that turns his audition a little tiresome, and their best moments are the track 12. " Cautious Repose" the very beautiful ballad theme, the track 13 " Bearing Down", track 15 " Mr. Oxy Moron" and the track 20 "Those That Want to Buy ", exactly the tracks of larger duration. However, the first 10 tracks of the disk (with approximately 45 min duration ) are fantastic with prominence for the track 3 " Memoirs From Between" (that begins with a "bucolic" theme, and the tracks 5 " In Every Garden" with a opening and closing theme "A lá" GENTLE GIANT & 6 " Little Nonsense " this a totally GENTLE GIANT track (that in certain moments remember "Way of Life" of the disk "In Glass House").This way, in spite of mentioned them restrictions done to the track " A Suite for Everyman", I want to detach that "SUFFOCATING THE BLOOM" is an exceptional disk . (in my conception in the same level of the previous) and without a doubt it deserves to represent in any prog collection. My rate is 5 stars!!!
