SPIRIT OF EDEN

There are two types of meditative music. The first stays on the surface and provides only a mere reflection of shallow puddles with no depth. The second one goes deeper although you see just the surface. You can sense the magic secret world deep under it. And this is the case of this album. I very much like all the achievements of Talk Talk. Either pop songs of early period or the later submersions to miraculous waters. They need not be virtuosos to reach these deep waters. They simply play by hearts and you hear it. I think that a decade before them there was one group named Pink Floyd who tried to cruise these seas but often lost their ways. I as well think that Talk Talk in this album did not loose their way. They even discovered the peaceful wonderland hidden in the ocean. You can see it. Only what you have to do is LISTEN LISTEN.
