5 stars I've been a fan of Bjork for a while now, and I was quite surprised to find her on this website, but glad cause I have a few of her albums.

This was the third time I had listened to this album. First time, didnt really get it, second time...loved it...third time...though it was one of the greatest albums ever.

And I'm really serious...and this was her "Debut"

Bjork isnt for everybody, but I think she was made just for me. Her music is so simplicit, it has so much beauty and she really is a talented songwriter and musician. Her voice is almost like an instrument, she can control it well and she is very experimental in the way she uses her voice.

This album would be one of my favorite albums of all time, dont ask me why, just listen to it yourself.

1. Human Behavior - Just classic Bjork. Great vocals and an amazing chorus. Good lyrics and some insteresting instrumental arrangments. 10/10

2. Crying - Beautiful song. Vocals in chorus are amazing. One of my all time favorite Bjork songs. 10/10

3. Venus As A Boy - It's that song from Leon haha. The arrangement is beautiful. One of the greatest songs ever made in my opinion. 10/10

4. There's More To Life Than This - Very 90's. Has a very aesthetic feel to it (apparently it was recorded in a toilet haha). Vocals in the chorus are breathtaking. 10/10

5. Like Someone In Love - Great cover song. The harp and vocals work incredibly well together. Very simple but astounding non the less. 10/10

6. Big Time Sensuality - Just so happy and joyful. Again, very 90's (that's my era haha). 10/10

7. One Day - Great discourse between instrumental work and vocals. Very spacey with a great climax in the chorus. 10/10

8. Aeroplane - Intro reminds me of Captain Beefheart. Interesting arrangement, especially with the vocals.9/10

9. Come To Me - Quite eerie. Great vocals and instrumentation. 9/10

10. Violently Happy - It's classic Bjork, but it's not one of my favorites. 9/10

11. The Anchor Song -Odd instrumentation. Great discourse between vocals and instruments. 9/10

12. Play Dead - WHY DO BONUS TRACKS HAVE TO BE THE BEST SONGS EVER AT TIMES!!! The orchestration in this song is one of the best times I have ever heard, and Bjorks voice is just an instrument of pure orgasm in this song. One of my favourite Bjork songs, and one of my favourite songs of all time.

CONCLUSION: Ok, have said my love of this album, even though it gets a wee bit weak towards the end, the songs still show alot of uniqueness.
