The main difference between this album and previous CAN albums was the technological leap from primitive overdubbing techniques to full scale multitrack recording. The chaotic structure of the early albums is controlled here, and the new studio tricks that Czukay employed give the album a very much more cohesive and easily comprehensible sonic landscape.

LANDED is my favourite CAN album (and I like almost all of them!)
