THE WAKE

Sure IQ is the only 80's group, instead all that generation of neo-proggers, (Marillion, Pendragon, & all that stuff) which has been able to carry the musical inheritance of the seventies to a step further. They didn't imitate, but improve that music.This is a rough album, full of dreamy vintage keyboards & guitars, sometimes with an enchanting primitive sound. Almost 20 years later, this album had never ceased catching my attention. Perhaps one of the most powerful I've ever heard. Try Headlong or Widow´s Peak. Thank you, Martin & Mike.
