PFM - LIVE IN JAPAN

This CD represents what progressive rock is all about. If you've never heard of PFM, this is a the one for you. All of their best material performed passionately with digital clarity. There is a good selection here which consists mostly of tracks from their early days. Whenever a band has been playing the same music for 30 years, it's not unusual to sound like they are just going through the motions. This is not the case here. Kudos to these guys for not only keeping the music alive, but for keeping it lively. One interesting note about the personnel on this CD: Both original member Flavio Premoli and his one time replacement Lucio Fabbri are together in concert.
