3 stars This disk is a well crafted and loving tribute to Frank Zappa from his son Dweezil. It consists of two versions each of Frank's personal favorite guitar compositions, Black Napkins, Zoot Allures and Watermelon In Easter Hay. Each of these songs appear twice, once in the original album version, and one spectacular live performance of each. There is also an added blues jam, Merely A Blues In A.

The solos all demonstrate what an amazing guitar craftsman Frank Zappa was, and also how he varies his solos from performance to performance. Honestly, I can't see how dweezil could have come up with a better tribute.

The packaging is beautiful as well, a very hard black leather-like folding case, with a big hairy Zappa moustache and soul patch.

The repetition of the songs make me say that this is more for collectors and hard core Zappa fans, but it's still a wonderful album.
