5 stars i have heard all soft machine records. I bought only one this was (i think SIX) with the track the soft weed factor. But Land of cocaine is absolutly the best. The fantastic sax from Dick Morrisey with a laid back bass from Jack. Very relaxing album. Of course for he hard-core purists of the early age of the softs it could be a little bit strange. But this is an album also for easy listening on a high sophisticated level. The best track: "over and above" a simple melody but you can't get it out of your head.
