VOIVODE DRACULA

Karda Estra- The band fronted by Richard Wileman, and an army of talented musicians, Is back with its 7th release, "Voivode Dracula", a compilation of music inspired by the all-time classic "Dracula" by Bram Stoker. The first thing that came to my mind was "this is movie soundtrack kind of music". Karda Estra has a very strong classical influence, and the recurrent use of electronics makes me think of new age music (quite usually known as Elctronic Prog), but digging more into this band's music you can notice the vintage Symphonic prog elements, mostly a la Genesis, or digging even more you can listen the Mike Oldfield influence. In short, "Voivode Dracula" is a great choice for everyone who wants to hear some Classical Contemporary music, something very deep, and always keep the prog spirit.
