4 stars 4.5, actualy. These guys blew me away. I remember the first time I saw them live, at a festival called Rock Am Sogn, where anekdoten headlined. We stumbeled in to the little stage where Panzerpappa were playing, and I was captured by their brilliant musicanship. So captured that I bought this cd.

Ever since then it has stayed put in my car cd player, and I love every single tone on this album. It mixes the fun of early Zappa with the complexity of King crimson, and have that "happy-canterburry-feeling". The music is highly variated, and I find no part of this cd boring. You can hear a long way that theese guys are inspired by bands like Hatfield and the North, Happy the man, Khan, Egg and most of all Zamla mammas manna, without ever beeing copycats. The reason I totaly love this album, and rate it among my top 10 albums ever, is the complexity, the good musicans, the perfectly balanced songs and the gift Panzerpappa has to make you feel extremely happy. You can hear a long way that they love what they do, and that they live for progrock. Truly astoneshing. A litle minus for the production.
