![]() It's such a pleasure to experience Dredg alive. I wish they shot a film of that on a DVD alongside with a regular CD release. We have a few new tracks down here, namely, The Warbler (a kind of introduction) and Stone By Stone. The latter is just as amazing as the whole 'Catch Without Arms' CD. I'd rather they included this one in the studio release. Gavin's voice is as stunning as ever, the rest of the band keeps him up very good. It's good to have almost the entire 'Catch Without Arms' tracklist here played live, along with a bunch of 'El Cielo' tracks and a couple of 'Leitmotif' songs. I wish there were twice as many Leitmotif tracks here, though. But still. The version of 'Of The Room' is sheer pleasure. With all these saxophones and all. Great. It sounds even better than it does on 'El Cielo'. 'The Ornament' here is also different. It seems to me that it is their demo variant (or an intro for the song). Perhaps, we're going to get it in a shape of extended intro for 'The Ornament' off they upcoming release in 2011. A stunning live album. An absolute must-have for any dredg/new prog fan.
