HOPE

A true concept album that sounds unlike anything I have heard before or since. True, it is filled with pop-like melodies, but the arrangements and quality of recording was way ahead of its time. This album carries me away into a dreamlike state. For me, the second side is the better one, with Lighthouse Keeper and my favorite song on the album, Loneliest Creature. these guys only toured once that I am aware of, and I was fortunate to have heard them. They did not disappoint. Sadly, they are long disbanded, but aside from the dismal album "Endangered Species" I can recommend any of their others wholeheartedly, especially if you like a bit of melodic pop mixed in with your prog.
